William Taifan became a recipient of the inaugural John C. Chen Endowed Fellowship in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering for Spring 2018. The evaluation criteria used by the awards committee included a combination of publication history, research productivity, grades in courses taken, potential for future professional success, and/or scholarly/academic leadership. This fellowship was made possible through an endowment established by Dr. (Mrs.) Kathy Chen in honor of her late husband Professor John C. Chen.
